Last year Lilja had a foal of Hringur frá Gunnarstödum 1, named Vafi and has a Blup of 114. Lilja will be covered by Hringur again this year and will be sold pregnant, so the price is inclusive foal.

How did you meet this horse?
Lilja belongs to my father in law who is also the breeder.

Can you describe the character of this horse?
Lilja is a really nice and friendly character and likes to be close to people. She is a really loving mother and always easy to catch in the field.

How long have you had Lilja?
Lilja always belonged to her breeder.

What is the most memorable moment together?
I only know her as a breeding mare but it is always fun to go to her field in the summer and her running to you to get some cuddles and treats.

How is Lilja as a riding horse?
She was always fun and ongoing with lots of tölt. She is hardworking and sensitive and likes to do her best but expects the same from the rider. She has not been ridden since 2013 because she is used as a breeding mare.

What is the highest score of the horse?
Lilja got 8.05 in FIZO, receiving 8.5 on spirit and tölt, but also has been shown in fivegait with over 6 in total.

What makes this horse so special?
Lilja is such a beautiful mare with a nice character and gives equally pretty and talented offsprings.

What is Lilja best at?
Giving outstanding beautiful colourful foals and eating grass  ?

Why is it time for you to part?
As he owns almost all her offsprings and siblings and can’t train by himself anymore it is time to sell some of the horses. He would like to give someone else the opportunity of breeding with a nice mare.

Can you sketch the perfect owner for Lilja?
It would be nice to find someone who wants to continue breeding with her. We would love to see some more offsprings of her!
