How did you meet this horse?
Gústur has been in training at Martin Rønnestad’s place when Martin and I worked together. Gustur’s owner decided to sell him so that he can be successful with his new owner.
Can you describe the character of this horse?
He is a sweet and lovely teddy bear. Gustur is a very charming tall gelding who loves to gives his best for his rider. He is not always that self-confident and he needs a rider who can help him when he gets unsure.
How long have you had Gustur?
I am Training Gústur since last October.
What is the most memorable moment together?
Riding through the forest with this beautiful guy in easy and clearbeated tölt is always a special moment with him.
How is Gustur as a riding horse?
Gústur is a luxurious ridinghorse to ride on the track or ride outside. His gaits are clearly separated and always with good beat. He is super soft on the reins and very supple through his body. In every gait he takes very big and long strides what makes him to a top sport horse and nice leisure at the same time.
What is the highest score of the horse?
Gustur has not been shown at any competition so far. But he has been shown on a breeding show where he was assessed with 8.21 in total. He scored 8.15 on rideability with 8.5 on walk, galop and character and 8 on the rest. His conformation was assessed with 8.29 in total with 9 on mane and tail. So he already proved his potential!
